About Kate & Krafters Studio
Welcome to Krafters Studio, where everything is made with heart, hands, and a bit of controlled chaos.
I’m Kate, a crafter, former cake shop owner, and the person behind every heirloom doll, custom gift, and practical digital download in this shop. After 16 years of running a cake business, surviving the pandemic, and rethinking everything I thought was stable, I moved to to a new city and started over... slowly, creatively, and on my own terms.
Krafters Studio is where I bring together all the things I love — sewing dolls, laser-cutting keepsakes, designing useful printables. It’s a mix of analog and digital, handmade and strategic. I believe in slow, mindful craftsmanship over mass production. I use upcycled fabrics when I can, hand-stitch what matters, and make things that (hopefully) last.
But full disclaimer: I’m neurodivergent. I don’t stick to one thing forever. I might sew, make dolls, design spreadsheets, and burn wood with a laser all in the same week. Or do none of that the next. That’s just how I’m wired. Still, I show up. Still, I create.
On the digital side, I run SociallyKonnected, where I share no-fluff business truths, social media tips, and “wish someone warned me” tips for creators and small business owners. It's my way of helping without burning out again.
Some things here are free. Others, I sell — because fair work deserves fair value. Either way, I hope you find something that makes your day easier, lighter, or just a little more joyful.
Thanks for being here.
