Hi, I’m Kate. I’ve been through the “negosyo is life” phase and also the “burnout is real” aftermath. After 16 years of running a cake business, surviving a pandemic, and rethinking everything, I moved to Dumaguete and started rebuilding slowly, mindfully, and on my own terms.

SociallyKonnected is my way of giving back (without going broke or insane). It’s where I share bite-sized business guides, social media truths, and “wish I knew this earlier” tips for small business owners and content creators who just want to do things right without the noise.

I don’t pretend to know everything. But I do read, dig, and research a lot especially now that I’m not running around like a headless cake decorator. If there’s a smarter, calmer way to do business, I want to find it and share it.

I’m not a business coach (yet), though I’m training myself to become one (just being honest). What I am right now is a social media strategist and marketer, because that’s where my interest lies and that’s where my recent trainings have taken me.

I’m also a crafter. A passionate one. But I’m neurodivergent, so don’t expect me to stick to one medium long enough to build an empire I’ll probably sew, laser-cut, and make dolls all in the same week… then do none of that the next. Still, I show up. Still, I create.

No fluff. No drama. Just honest info, practical ideas, and the occasional sarcastic content. Because sometimes, all we need is one solid post to avoid a ₱50,000 mistake.
